Vendor Opportunities

We Want to Do Business with You
As part of the State of Georgia, the Georgia World Congress Center is devoted to economic development. Our mission statement states our primary purpose as promoting and facilitating events and activities that generate economic benefits to the citizens of the State of Georgia and the City of Atlanta. The GWCC wants to help Georgia businesses prosper. We work in partnership with qualified businesses to contract directly for goods, equipment, construction and services.

The GWCCA Purchasing Department is responsible for the centralized procurement of goods and services for the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park. Purchases are based on competitive bidding whenever practical, and all qualified vendors are invited to participate in the bidding process.

Some of the goods and services we procure include:

  • Engineering and housekeeping supplies
  • Building materials
  • Public facility equipment
  • Audio-visual and lighting equipment
  • Vehicles
  • Office supplies
  • Printing services
  • Construction services
  • Maintenance services
  • Landscaping equipment
  • Repair services

State Procurement Policy
State of Georgia policy mandates that small businesses, businesses owned by women and businesses owned by minorities have a fair and equal opportunity to participate in the State's purchasing process. Therefore, we encourage all disadvantaged businesses, small businesses, businesses owned by women and businesses owned by minorities to compete for our contracts.

The Georgia Department of Administrative Services also maintains an office to support businesses owned by women, small businesses and minority businesses. The Office of Small and Minority Business may be contacted at:
