About Our Service Partners

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority has exclusive contracts with five outside companies who provide services to the customers of the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park. Each contract grants sole ownership of all aspects of the service rendered. These services include catering, telecommunications, parking, television production and guest management services.

Few facilities, including hotels, can rival the quality and variety of the professionally prepared gourmet cuisine offered at the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park. Year after year, MGR Food Services has set the industry standard for culinary excellence for meeting planners and special events.

MGR Food Services has sole distribution and sales rights for all food and beverage products within the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park.

With a staff of more than 200 permanent and 2,000 part-time employees, MGR manages the food service operations, as well as Terraces, a full-service dining restaurant and hosts on-site support services such as a bakeshop, florist and laundry. In the Georgia Dome, MGR provides first class food service for 203 luxury suites, plus a gourmet restaurant and concession facilities for 4,000 executive level members. MGR also operates some of the most innovative restaurants, sports bars, food courts and concessions available in any sports facility in the country. MGR also provides services for events held in Centennial Olympic Park.

Anchoring the food service operations in our four on-site kitchens are two executive chefs and a culinary team of more than 20 sous chefs , garde-managers, bakers and talented line cooks. Supporting the culinary side is a professional banquet and restaurant services staff highly experienced in delivering all types of service, whether it's a seated dinner for eight or 8,000, boxed meals for 140,000 or just a great hot dog for the hungry convention attendee.

One of the most often remembered elements of a meeting, trade show or special event is the quality of the food and beverage service. MGR operates over 20 permanent restaurants and bars within the combined facilities, plus concessions and specialty food carts designed to accommodate the needs of any event.

CONVENTION CENTER LONG DISTANCE (CCLD)
CCLD (Convention Center Long Distance) is the exclusive telephone and Internet provider for the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park. Because of this exclusive agreement with a single telecommunications provider, CCLD can keep pace with rapid technological change - providing customers with the most advanced service available.

CCLD installs phone lines, modem lines, high-speed Internet lines, and other communication services anywhere within the GWCCA campus. CCLD maintains the high speed, full Internet connection. CCLD also provides a variety of additional services for networking, which can be extended from an outside source when brought to our Demark point. Our Wireless Web connections are available in certain locations within the GWCC, especially at restaurant areas. CCLD keeps the Georgia World Congress Center Authority on top of technological advances to remain competitive with other facilities.

AAA PARKING
AAA Parking operates more than 4,000 parking spaces adjacent to the facilities as well as a staging area for 200 buses and truck marshalling. The Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park are easily accessible with 2 parking decks and 5 lots located on campus. The GWCC operates a marshalling yard that is available for rent on a daily basis. All parking areas are patrolled by GWCC Public Safety to ensure safe access to the facilities.

GEORGIA DOME PRODUCTIONS
Georgia Dome Productions is a full-service television production company located in the Georgia Dome. As a business partner with the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, Georgia Dome Productions provides television services to customers who use the facilities.

These services cover all aspects of television production: writing/scripting, preproduction planning and consultation, live multi-camera production or single camera news/documentary style, complete production crews, satellite and fiber optic transmissions, on-line post production edit suite, computer graphics, animation and video tape duplication. The Georgia Dome Productions team consists of veteran television professionals familiar with live multi-camera event coverage. Many national sporting events, major concerts, teleconferences, trade shows and even the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games were televised and edited by Georgia Dome Productions.

CSC GUEST MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) holds the exclusive guest management contract for events in the Georgia Dome. Among the services provided by CSC are security personnel, ushers and ticket takers. CSC has unequalled experience in crowd management for athletic and entertainment events. Providing crowd management is the company's primary business and their employees are professionals. All CSC employees receive individual training and coaching to ensure they not only assist guests, but assist them with the friendly face and smile synonymous with the Georgia Dome staff.
