Chairman Prather called the GWCCA Employee Compensation Committee meeting to order at 1:45 p.m.

Mr. Graveline noted the main purpose of this meeting is to finish up details on the elimination of business use vehicles. He reminded the committee that the Authority has already approved the elimination of ten full use automobiles and the compensation of $800 per month to those ten employees. We also have four positions that are allowed to drive work vehicles to and from work and on the premises because they are considered first responders in an emergency situation. The four positions are Centennial Olympic Park General Manager, Director of Public Safety, Director of GWCC Engineering, and Dome Superintendent of Engineering. New State vehicle guidelines will require we eliminate the practice of allowing key emergency response staff from using work vehicles to commute to and from work. Mr. Graveline would like to recommend to the committee that we eliminate the use of work vehicles entirely and offer a $400 per month compensation to the employees. The Director of Public Safety’s work vehicle was turned in when he recently retired and the new Director was not offered a vehicle. Therefore, the committee would need to vote only on the three other vehicles.

Motion to approve the elimination of the remaining three work vehicles and to allow a $400 per month compensation to the employees was made by Tommy Vance seconded by Bill Archer and unanimously approved.

Mr. Graveline thanked the committee for their continued support.

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 12:05 a.m. was made by Bill Archer, seconded by Tommy Vance and unanimously approved.
