EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
ARTICLE VI, Section 1 (a) states "The Executive Committee" shall consist of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and one member of the Board designated by the Chairman with the approval of the Board, at the annual meeting of the Board. The Executive Committee shall have the power to take any action, which the Board of Governors has the power to take in a duly called and convened meeting of the Board. Refer to Bylaws for specific instructions in carrying out duties.

PERSONNEL COMMITTEE
GWCC Authority Bylaws refer to a Personnel Committee with the intent being to review any action taken by the appointing Authority with respect to employment of Congress Center personnel. The Executive Committee has historically served as the Personnel Committee when needed.

EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE - Established June 29, 1982 Established to review employee salary ranges, performance, and compensation issues as required.

ATLANTA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU REPRESENTATIVE - Established April 24, 1984 The Chair or Chair designee serves as the Authority representative on the ACVB Board of Directors Executive Committee for management and financial review.

CENTENNIAL OLYMPIC PARK COMMITTEE - Established February 22, 1994 Created for the purpose of reviewing policies and issues relating to Centennial Olympic Park.

GEORGIA DOME REVIEW COMMITTEE - Established 2003
Created to 1) work with staff to review Dome financial structure and related agreements regarding the Atlanta Falcons; and 2) to review advertising and sponsorship opportunities and strategies for the Georgia Dome including possible “naming rights.”
