Festival of Trees General Information

What: The Festival of Trees, Atlanta’s premier holiday event, benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Visitors can stroll through 154,000 square feet of decorated trees, wreaths and decorator vignettes created by the city’s top artists and designers. The Festival also features magnificent gingerbread houses, an assortment of specialty shops, a special venue of handmade dollhouses, and an array of children’s activities. Our main stage features continuous live entertainment and attracts people of all ages.


When: December 3-11, 2005
Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sundays, 12 noon - 6 p.m.

Admission:

Adults: $12

Children (ages 2-12): $6

Children under 2: Free Admission

Senior Citizens (65 and over): $6

Parking

There are over 4,000 parking spaces operated by the Georgia World Congress Center. Parking is available in the Gold Deck (located on Northside Drive between the GWCC and the Georgia Dome), in the Blue Lot (located on Northside Drive across from the GWCC), and in the Yellow Lot (located on Jones Avenue across from the GWCC). Additional parking is available in the Red Deck (located on Andrew Young Int’l Blvd. by the GWCC, Georgia Dome and Philips Arena). Parking prices range from $8 to $10 depending on the lot.

Children's Christmas Parade 2005 General Information

What: Strike up the band! With each passing year, more and more children and families crowd the streets of Atlanta for a little holiday magic. Join us to officially kick off the 2005 Festival of Trees! If you can't join us downtown, be sure to catch us on WSB-TV Channel 2. Pre-Parade coverage begins at 10 am.

When: Saturday, December 3, 2005
10:30 a.m. - Noon

Where: The 2005 Children's Christmas Parade begins at Peachtree Street near Baker Street. The route follows Peachtree Street and turns right onto Marietta Street. It will then turn left and end on Centennial Olympic Park Drive.
