The Georgia World Congress Center is more than ideal when it comes to hosting consumer shows. Atlantans and visitors alike have come to expect nothing but the best from their experience at the downtown convention center. Location, location, location! The fact that the Georgia World Congress Center is situated in the heart of downtown Atlanta makes it the perfect location for public shows. It is conveniently located near a surplus of hotel rooms, restaurants and other attractions. Out-of-towners can certainly make a day of their visit to the Congress Center simply because there are so many other things to do close by. Not only is getting here a breeze, parking is also in abundance at the Georgia World Congress Center. With more than 4,500 parking spaces and a courtesy campus shuttle that takes guests from each parking lot to the show, the Congress Center is one of the most accessible convention centers anywhere.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution International Auto Show has been a staple in the automobile industry for 22 years. The must-see event is an annual showcase of the newest model year import and domestic vehicles, plus concept cars and numerous special guest stars. The International Auto Show exhibits in Halls B1-B5, a massive 607,500 square feet in size. The length of automobiles on display covers more than twice the length of Atlanta's (and the Southeast’s) highest skyscraper, Bank of America Plaza.
The Atlanta Boat Show features the largest display of boats in the region. The annual event, held each January, packs Atlantans and visitors in the Congress Center to view fishing boats, cruisers, sailboats, bow riders, deck boats, pontoon boats, house boats, personal water craft and just about everything you could dream of owning on the water. With more than enough room at the Congress Center, the Atlanta Boat Show offers a marketplace for a huge variety of marine products and services featuring a fantastic outdoor and travel related section with exhibitors from all over United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. By taking advantage of our surplus of meeting rooms, the show even features include fishing and sailing seminars, among other education courses.
For home-owning enthusiasts, the Atlanta Home Show is the place for fresh ideas and the latest products and services in the home building, home remodeling and home improvement industries.
The annual event showcases thousands of products that allow visitors to compare their entire home needs under one big roof. Thanks to 30-foot ceilings, during the 2004 Atlanta Home Show, attendees were able to walk through a full-size house built from scratch. All of the GWCC exhibit hall ceilings are 30-feet high, giving more than enough room for multi-story exhibits.
