Authority executive director named ACVB 'Member
of Year'
Dan Graveline, executive director of the Georgia
World Congress Center Authority, was named the
Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau Member
of the Year during the Night of a Thousand Stars
ceremonies at Swissotel Atlanta in November.

Activities for 2001 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl
The Georgia Dome celebrates New Year's Eve with
thousands of football fans attending the Chick-fil-A
Peach Bowl - featuring the Auburn Tigers and the
North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC vs. SEC showdown.
Plenty of activities are planned for both the
Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic
Park in anticipation of the 7:30 p.m. bowl game
kick-off.

explored at American Public Health Association's
Annual Meeting
The American Public Health Association's 129th
Annual Meeting Oct. 21-25 in Atlanta includes
16 sessions on terrorism, including topics on
bio-terrorism and three new sessions added to
address the Sept. 11 attack.
