The NKBA select Atlanta for 2009 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show

(Atlanta- Oct. 26) -- Where do you hold the world's largest kitchen and bath industry event? In 2009, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) will hold it at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. With more than 3.9 million-square-feet of space and over 1.4 million square-feet of exhibit space, Atlanta's premiere convention center is the perfect facility for the NKBA's annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) which is produced by VNU Expositions.

"Atlanta offers great opportunities for the continued growth and success of K/BIS. The city offers fantastic hotels, entertainment, and convention facilities with southern charm and hospitality. Our attendees and exhibitors will be amazed by how much the city has grown and flourished since 1996 when we last held K/BIS in Atlanta." said National Kitchen & Bath Association's President Jeffery Cannata. The Association's Board of Directors voted this week to take the show back to Atlanta, where the attendance is expected to continue to grow with the anticipation of seeing the latest products, systems and appliances.

"This is a great event for the Georgia World Congress Center," said Mark Zimmerman, General Manager. "We are excited to welcome back this industry that has continued to grow and we know the audience will enjoy both the convention center and the great amenities in Atlanta."

K/BIS attendees and exhibitors will enjoy not only easy access to the Convention Center Complex; which includes the Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena and CNN center, but also the convenience of excellent hotels and restaurants, all within walking distance.

Atlanta is home to a booming housing and remodeling market that has been fueled by a steady increase in the number of residents and expanded communities. Along with the housing market, Atlanta has seen a significant increase in business and recreational facilities, including the world largest aquarium -- which opens in November 2005.
