GWCC WELCOMES THE INTERNATIONAL POULTRY EXPO AGAIN

(Atlanta--January 23, 2006) The Georgia World Congress Center is pleased to welcome the International Poultry Expo to campus once again. The tradeshow will take place Jan. 25-27 in Buildings B & C. With more than 18,000 attendees from around the world, this annual meeting of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association will mark the 58th consecutive year that the meeting has been held in Atlanta. The association, which is located in Atlanta, has committed to conduct their expo in Atlanta through 2008.

The International Poultry Expo has been recognized as one of the largest tradeshows in the U.S. by Tradeshow Week as well as the International Association of Exhibition Management (IAEM). "The International Poultry Expo is the world’s largest trade show for the poultry and egg industry," said U.S. Poultry & Egg Association President Don Dalton. "We’ve found Atlanta a great place in which to conduct business. The transportation, hotel and dining options are all first-rate. They help us to continue expanding our international reach."
