New MARTA Route Downtown Designed for Tourists

Exploring downtown just got easier! MARTA launched a new bus route this month called the Atlanta Tourist Loop designed to take riders to all of the most popular attractions downtown. The route, number 100, runs every 30 minutes and will take tourists from the Georgia Aquarium to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center to the CNN Center and everything in between. The route will take visitors from their hotel to restaurants, shops and attractions and runs weekdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For a fare of $1.75, exploring downtown is now very convenient for out of town guests as well as locals taking in all that downtown has to offer. Conventioneers can also take advantage of this route by catching the bus at their downtown hotel and then riding to the Georgia World Congress Center campus.
