Georgia World Congress Center Promotes New National Sales Manager

(ATLANTA – January 11, 2007) The Georgia World Congress Center has announced the promotion of Jason Outman to national sales manager. Originally from Lansing, Mich., Outman has worked as sales manager at the Georgia World Congress Center for two years and has called Atlanta home for the same amount of time. With six years of sales and marketing experience, Outman will continue as a strong member of the GWCC sales team.

“Jason has a proven track record for outstanding customer service,” said Pattsie Rand, director of sales and marketing at the Georgia World Congress Center. “We are so pleased that Jason has taken this position.”

Outman graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in communications. Before joining the Georgia World Congress Center, Outman worked as the marketing director for the Metro YMCA in Lansing for almost two years. 

“I’ve had a great experience working for the Georgia World Congress Center,” said Outman, “and I’m so happy to continue with the sales team in my new position helping to promote our facility and Atlanta.”

Outman lives in Powder Springs, Georgia with his wife and two children.
