(ATLANTA – January 12, 2007) Michelle Brown recently joined the Georgia World Congress Center sales team as the new sales executive. Originally from Lexington, KY, Brown has six years of event and facilities management experience and four years of athletic management experience. As sales executive for the Georgia World Congress Center, Brown will handle short term bookings in the local market for the facility’s ballrooms, auditoriums and meeting rooms.

“We’re so happy to have such an outgoing and energetic salesperson on board to work with our local customers,” says Pattsie Rand, director of sales and marketing for the Georgia World Congress Center.  

Brown graduated from Kentucky State University with a degree in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and received her master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Rehabilitation Counseling. Before joining the Georgia World Congress Center, Brown most recently worked for Ambassadors in Atlanta.
