The Park won five Kaleidoscope Awards at the annual Southeast Festivals & Events Conference in February. The awards program recognizes top festivals and events for outstanding contributions to their communities as well as the industry. The Park was awarded silver for Best Website, gold for Best Publication: Fountain Pen, bronze for Best Event Photograph: Pachyderm Picnic, gold for Best Event Photograph: Southern Comfort Music Experience and bronze for Best Festival or Event: 10th Anniversary Celebration. Mark Banta, General Manager of Centennial Olympic Park, says, "The Park is dedicated to providing the best programming and information to the general public, and these awards validate our efforts."
