Georgia World Congress Center Names New Sales Executive

(ATLANTA) - Katja Morgenstern recently joined the Georgia World Congress Center sales team as a new sales manager. Originally from Charleston, SC, Morgenstern has over eight years of experience managing events, and developing procedures, policies, and marketing endeavors for a variety of companies and individuals and most recently served as the Director of Catering for Corporate sales for Levy Restaurants, here at the Georgia World Congress Center. As sales manager for the Georgia World Congress Center, Morgenstern is responsible for the implementation and execution of the sales functions for the Georgia World Congress Center’s national and international corporate trade show markets.

“We’re so happy to have Katja join the GWCC sales team. She’ll be a great addition to our team,” says Pattsie Rand, director of sales and marketing for the Georgia World Congress Center.  

Morgenstern graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Business Administration. Before joining Levy Restaurants at the Georgia World Congress Center, Morgenstern most recently worked for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as Director of Development.
