Georgia World Congress Center Names New Sales Manager

(ATLANTA – May 16, 2007) Holly Johnson has joined the Georgia World Congress Center sales team as a new sales manager. Originally from Los Angeles, Calif., Johnson most recently served as a catering sales manager at the W Hotel at Perimeter Center, in Atlanta. As sales manager for the Georgia World Congress Center, Johnson is responsible for the implementation and execution of the sales functions for the Georgia World Congress Center’s multicultural, religious, fraternal, sports, hobby and vocational markets.

“We are very pleased to have Holly join our team. Her past experience with the W Hotel as well as the Marriott Marquis gives her the background and knowledge needed to step right in and take excellent care of our customers,” said Pattsie Rand, director of sales and marketing for the Georgia World Congress Center.  

Johnson studied business and marketing at the University of Phoenix. Before moving to Atlanta, Johnson lived in Los Angeles and worked in the music industry and continues to be very passionate about music.

“I am very excited about meeting existing clients as well as seeking and developing new business and relationships.  I look forward to bringing my creativity and enthusiasm to every project and situation,“ she said.
