(Atlanta - March 7, 2008) Conventioneers will enjoy additional growth next to the Georgia World Congress Center the next time they visit Atlanta. Opening on March 25, the Hilton Garden Inn, located on Baker Street just a few blocks from the convention center, will add 242 hotel rooms to downtown.

Additionally, the neighborhood boasts new dining options. STATS, located on Marietta Street, is a sports bar with a full menu of American classics. On Park Avenue West, Peasant Bistro offers traditional bistro favorites with French and Mediterranean influences. For a quick snack, Cinnabon, Carvel Ice Cream and Starbucks on Park Avenue West round out the neighborhood’s latest offerings.
