(ATLANTA
– Oct. 11, 2004) This week, the
Georgia World Congress Center welcomes thousands
of International friends to Atlanta. The GWCC
hosts Sibos 2004, a conference and networking
event for the global financial community. Members
of the SWIFT community attend Sibos in order to
be informed, to move their industry forward and

Sibos 2004 takes place at the Georgia World Congress
Center from Monday, Oct. 11 to Friday, Oct. 15.
The event focuses on issues that are challenging
the financial services industry, new technologies,
new processes, new client expectations, new and
unexpected alliances and ever-growing pressures
for greater efficiency and security. The event
was held in Singapore last year.
Sibos 2004 will draw more than 5,500 participants
and 200 application, middleware vendors, systems
integrators, financial institutions, consultants
and central clearing systems from around the world.
“We are thrilled to be hosting Sibos 2004,
the world's premier financial services event.
We at the Georgia World Congress Center are looking
forward to welcoming people from all over the
world to Atlanta with warm Southern hospitality,”
stated Dan Graveline, GWCC Executive Director.
