Petterson
named PR/Marketing Coordinator
Atlanta
- Christy Petterson has been named the public
relations/marketing coordinator for the Georgia
World Congress Center, Mark Zimmerman, Georgia
World Congress Center general manager announced.
Petterson
will work as a project manager for the center's
public relations and marketing efforts. Petterson
joined the center in 2004. Prior to that time,
she worked in the newspaper industry as well as
the arts.
Auer
promoted to Senior PR Specialist
Atlanta
- Billy Auer has been named Senior PR Specialist
at the Georgia World Congress Center, Mark Zimmerman,
Georgia World Congress Center general manager
announced.
Auer
will manage the center's public relations staff,
which provides public relations and marketing
support to the convention center, the Georgia
Dome and Centennial Olympic Park. Auer joined
the convention center in 2001. Prior to that time,
he worked for the City of Columbia, S.C., Dept.
of Public Relations.
Pando
appointed Associate Director of Marketing
Atlanta
- Katy Pando has been named Associate Director
of Marketing for the Georgia, World Congress Center
Authority, Mark Zimmerman, Georgia World Congress
Center general manager announced.
Pando
will manage the marketing initiatives of the nation's
fourth largest convention center campus, which
includes the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic
Park. She joined the convention center in 2001
as Public Relations Manager. Prior to that time,
she worked in the newspaper industry.
