Mistletoe Gala Offers Unique Office Holiday Party

ATLANTA (November 11, 2002) - Imagine your holiday party as an evening full of dinner and dancing, lights and laughter and memories not soon forgotten. The Georgia World Congress Center is teaming up with the Festival of Trees and MGR Food Services to present the first annual Mistletoe Gala, an event designed to let small companies and organizations be a part of a gala-style event - without the planning headaches.

The event, featuring a spectacular buffet dinner, live music and festive holiday décor, will take place on Friday, Dec. 13 at 7:30p.m. - 11:30p.m. in the Thomas P. Murphy Ballroom at the Georgia World Congress Center. The eclectic menu will consist of roasted New York strip loin au poivre, pistachio crusted salmon with lobster ragout, chicken rustico, braised chicken breasts in red wine with tomatoes, dried fruit-stuffed pork tenderloin and a unique blend of salads, spreads, vegetables and side dishes.

The Mistletoe Gala is being held in conjunction with the Festival of Trees, an annual event held at the GWCC for the past 12 years. Mistletoe Gala attendees will be able to walk down to the Festival of Trees to stroll through 150,000 square feet of decorated trees, wreaths, gingerbread homes and decorator vignettes created by the city's top artists and designers. The Festival of Trees, Atlanta's premier holiday event, has contributed more than $12.2 million to provide much needed equipment and services for the sick and injured children at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

A sample package for a table of ten includes ten buffet dinner tickets, 20 beverage tickets, ten tickets to the Festival of Trees and five parking tickets. Tickets cost $75 per person. For more information, or to book your holiday party at the Mistletoe Gala, call Elizabeth Peebles at 404.223.4500
