(ATLANTA - Feb. 8) - Billed the largest tradeshow for residential and light commercial construction, the National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) 58th Annual Convention and Exposition will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center Feb. 8-11.

The much-anticipated show, which attracts more than 70,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, features more than 1,000 exhibitors, 200 educational programs and numerous special events.

Over the span of four days, leading housing industry suppliers will unveil the latest home building products and services to a diversified audience of high-powered buyers and industry professionals representing the following segments of today's construction industry: residential building, remodeling and light commercial construction. The exhibit floor spans nearly one million square feet of the newest residential building materials and products in more than 300 different categories.

Returning this year are TecHOMExpo, a show-within-a-show, where visitors can learn about cutting-edge technologies and products including hardware, software and services; and ICCON (International Commercial Construction Exposition) that spotlights a wide range of specialized products and services for the light commercial industry.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Habitat for Humanity International, five Habitat houses are being constructed in the Marietta St. Parking Lot (Purple Lot) located next to the Georgia World Congress Center. On Feb. 9, these homes will be dedicated to five families who worked to build them with Habitat volunteers and transported to their permanent sites in the Atlanta area. This project is being coordinated with Cahners Residential Group.

The International Builders' Show Virtual Trade Show (VTS) is debuting this year to provide online access to every product and service displayed at the show. This exciting new tool enables users to search exhibitors' websites, request product brochures, and communicate with newly established business contacts.

In addition, users will be able to view video broadcasts of educational seminars, product launches and exhibitor interviews. Visit www.buildersshow.com to learn more.
