GWCC Rolls Out Red Carpet for 11th Annual Trumpet Awards

ATLANTA (Jan. 8, 2002) - The Georgia World Congress Center rolled out the red carpet for the 2003 TBS Trumpet Awards on Jan. 6. The event, which drew multiple celebrities, dignitaries and other special guests, was held in the Thomas B. Murphy Ballroom.

More than 1,500 attendees enjoyed a five-star meal, created specifically for the event, which honored such A-list entertainers as Destiny's Child, Pam Grier, Julius "Dr. J" Erving and Spike Lee. The 11th annual awards banquet will be broadcast at 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 on TBS Superstation.
