ATLANTA (Feb.3, 2003) - This weekend, the Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia Dome host a variety of events, giving families one more reason to spend the day downtown. From a fun-filled, interactive basketball event to a bull riding competition, the Georgia World Congress Center Authority has events for the entire family.

Basketball fans can experience the exciting and inviting pre-game activities leading up to the Sunday's NBA All-Star Game at Philips Arena. The Georgia World Congress Center hosts the 10th annual NBA All-Star Jam Session in its new expansion (Building C) featuring the ultimate interactive basketball experience with fun for the whole family. Fans can test their basketball skills, play a wide variety of interactive games and see NBA stars, celebrities, and more. Professional Bull Riders Atlanta Classic at the Georgia Dome Saturday, Feb. 8. showcases the world's top 45 bull riders competing against the world's rankest bulls during this one-day event. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 8 p.m.

Heavy traffic is expected in and around downtown this weekend due to the number of events taking place. Attendees are encouraged to take MARTA to arrive safely and quickly to their destination.
