Atlanta Home Show Celebrates Silver Anniversary at the Georgia World Congress Center

ATLANTA (April 16, 2003) - The 25th annual Atlanta Home Show features more than 400 displays showcasing thousands of products that allow visitors to compare all of their home needs under one roof. Additionally, demonstrations and seminars will be held by some of the premier names in interior design, entertainment and horticulture. Special guest appearances include Vern Yip of Trading Spaces, HGTV celebrities Joe Washington and Erica Glasener, Frank Bielec, a designer on Trading Spaces, Lou Manfredini a.k.a. "Mr. Fix-it" and Walter Reeves who will broadcast his show, The Lawn & Garden Show, live on Saturday from 6a.m.-10 a.m. Another highlight is the All American EarthCraft House, a spectacular full-scale house presenting the latest in systems build modules combined with environmental and energy efficiency.

Hours for the 2003 Atlanta Home Show are as follows:
Thurs. April 24 noon to 8p.m.
Fri. April 25 noon to 9p.m.
Sat. April 26 10a.m. to 9p.m.
Sun. April 27 noon to 6p.m.

The Georgia World Congress Center has more than 4,000 parking spaces in decks and paved lots around campus. For easy access to Halls C1-C2, park in the Blue Lot (Northside Drive across from entrance), in the Yellow Lot (corner of Northside Drive and Simpson Street) or in the Gold Deck (located in between Building C and Georgia Dome). Additionally, parking is available in the Red Deck (formerly the International Deck) located at the GWCC International Blvd. entrance. Attendees follow signs and walk through the connector to Building C. For MARTA riders, please use the GWCC/DOME/CNN/Philips station for entry to the Congress Center.
