MGR Food Services and Volunteers of American Host "I Remember Mama Luncheon"
(ATLANTA - May 5, 2003) MGR Food Services and Volunteers of America will host the "I Remember Mama Luncheon" on Sunday, May 11, 2003 in room B-410 of the Georgia World Congress Center from noon until 2 p.m. The guest list includes women who won't be with their immediate family on Mother's Day, or are program participants in facilities or agencies serving the elderly and connected with the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

The guests of honor will be welcomed and served by Volunteers of America hosts and hostesses as they enjoy a free, three-course lunch provided by MGR Food Services. "This is a great opportunity for us to share a special day with very special members of the community," said Phil Noyes, president of the Georgia World Congress Center's food services provider."

The Mother's Day program features door prizes and the Prettiest Hat Contest, judged by Jean Murphy of Rich's hat fashion show fame.

This second annual event is sponsored by the Atlanta Community Food Bank, WSB-TV's Family 2 Family Program and MGR Food Services.

Volunteers of America Georgia is a subsidiary of Volunteers of America Southeast, administering programs in nine Georgia cities, providing 24 hour supervision, support and training for individuals with chronic mental illness as well as housing for the elderly and low income citizens.
