ATLANTA (June 3, 2003) - The Georgia World Congress Center recently announced the appointment of a new National Sales Manager. Jennifer Smith, originally from Alabama, joins the Sales staff with her experience in the convention industry.

Smith comes to the GWCC from Westin Atlanta Airport where she served as director of convention services. She also worked in the sales department at the Atlanta Convention and Visitor's Bureau for more than three years. Smith is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in Health Promotion with a Business minor.

" I am very excited to be a part of the GWCC Sales Team. After one year away from the downtown market, I feel as if I have come home. I look forward to working with everyone at the GWCCA and to booking some business," said Smith.
